Description
Dr. Matthew Compton will provide an overview of the R. M. Bogan Archaeological Repository at Georgia Southern University. This state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to preserving and studying archaeological collections. The Repository houses thousands of artifacts that span up to 14,000 years of regional history, including artifacts from the Brier Creek Battlefield. It is one of only three such repositories in Georgia, providing expanded opportunities for research and student training.
